AT1223 Remington Rider New Model double action .36 cal revolver sn# 4924 6-1/2 barrel with good bore showing strong rifling and pitting its entire length. The metal surfaces are now mostly a darker pewter patina with scattered spots of fine oxidation staining and a small spot or two of fine pinprick pitting. The cylinder is fluted with remnants of the safety notches still visible and its numbered to the gun. final production number of this gun is 5,000. This guns was originally an unfluted example but with its late sn# 4924, at the end of production and matching cylinder its most likely a "clean Up" gun. There are trace amounts of silver plate left on the triggerguard toning overall to an ocher patina. The Walnut stocks rate near excellent with some added finish and scattered light handling marks. Excellent function ( Could be fired today)
